What a week 🙂
We haven’t been teaching hardly anybody and all we do is finding and try to contact people. However we have gotten 7-8 new investigators simply by doing that. I have never felt happier and we are working hard and being obedient and just doing everything we can to be the best servants we can be. And it feels wonderful! I feel so good 🙂
I have said His before but honestly Bozeman is and is becoming the changing point for me in my mission, in my ministry, and even in my life. I am learning so much about myself and about my Heavenly Father and about His Son. I am experiencing unprecedented personal spiritual growth. I am so happy and I’m working harder than ever and it’s paying off 🙂 I love life so much. I love my companion and who he is helping me become. Life is truly wonderful. I still make mistakes that kill me. But I try to laugh about them. A common saying I’ve picked up is, “You Live and You Learn.” And it’s so true. I’m learning how to forgive myself. I’m learning to put all trust and faith in Him. It’s amazing. There are so many blessings that he gives me. Every day. I love Him. I love serving Him. There is no better decision I have ever made in my whole life.
Some cool miracles, so Monday night we were walking towards a less actives house to try and set something up with them. and then his lady, Jess, calls out to us. She needed some “inspiration”. She was going through a very hard time. And needed some words. We shared with her the story in the Book of Mormon where Alma and his people are persecuted and eventually escape through the grace and mercy of the Lord. She appreciated it. And she seems to be doing a lot better. She is a promising potential.
The next miracle is when we went to go visit another less active family. We had been asked by the Elders Quorum, Relief Society, and the Bishop to go visit this family. So we are like, alright. We should probably go visit them. They aren’t home. We go back to the car. And we meet Justin walking away. We talk to him about the Book of Mormon. How it can help get him back on his feet. We are going back tomorrow 🙂 if we had been 10 seconds earlier or later we would have missed him.
And then this same less active brother’s sister was a former investigator, we go try her and meet Hannah. We talk on her doorstep for around half an hour about the Book of Mormon and about the Restoration. Hannah had just gotten back and was just about to leave when we caught her. We also found out that the less active’s sister has moved. So yeah. 🙂 it’s awesome. There is some really good stuff happening here. And I love it. I love you all. Thank you for everything. Keep on keeping on.
It’s gonna take work,
